YG-208A sterile dry type granulator is a new type powder dry granulator developed to meet GMP demand and technolo-gical improvements in pharmaceutical industry. This machine is based on the advanced technologies from foreign countries in granulating with powdered material. In this machine, the dry powder is directly degassed, then pressed into tablets, pulverized and sieved. This machine finds wide applications in pharmaceutical industry in tablet pressing, granulating for capsules and also in granulating of those materials which are hard to be granulated using the wet method.
This machine uses the granulating principle by mechanical pressing. The powdered material is sent to the hopper through the pneumatic vacuum feeder and then is screw compressed. The degassed material enters the upper chambers of the two rollers. With the rotating of
the two rollers in opposite directions, the material is forced in between the two rollers. The rollers take in the material into the clearances, where the material is pressed into tablets. After the material has passed through the compressing area, the surface tension and weight of the material cause it through out. The material in the form of chip which has come out is pulverized. The complete granules and those have
been finished are force out into the vibration sieve through the meshed sieve. The finished granules which have been sieved enter the collector. Those unqualified granules which have been sieved out are sent into the hopper via the pneumatic vacuum feeder. Then they are pressed and an enclosed cycle is completed.

| Prime Characteristics of Structure: |

1. The materials are compressed into forms by means of mechanical force without any humectants added so that the
product purity is ensured.
2. The granules have even density, good pulverization and high production efficiency.
3. The materials are automatically vacuum feeded with an optional vibration sieve. A fully automatic production is realized in the whole process and thus environmental contaminations due to drug powder can be avoided. The label intensity is lessened and the material recovery ratio is increased.
4. The vacuum vent and cooling down of the entire material system machine is available on the machine, which optimizes the quality of drugs.
5. The conventional side seals on the rollers are replaced by hopper, which not only prevents against the particle contamination due to frictions of the side seals but helps distribute the materials in the drum area in a more uniformly way.
6. The dry powder is directly granulated and a subsequent drying process is unnecessary. So less steps are required, cost is reduced and working efficiency is improved.
7. The sterile machine is equipped with online auto cleaning and online auto sterilization, up to GMP requirements.
8. Long service life and easy installation and maintenance.
